LIGHT INDUSTRIAL & DISTRIBUTION

An experienced team with a proven track record in new industrial builds, renovations/expansions and fit-outs.

Fillmore Construction has been competing work in the light industrial sector since its founding in 1991.  Our light Industrial experience is focused primarily on new build and expansions for large box warehousing/distribution, Industrial CRUs, fleet servicing facilities, and Industrial plant site non-process buildings.  A large majority of the light industrial work is completed in a Design-Build contract type although we perform a portion of this work on a construction management basis with a pre-construction component.

 

As a tie-in to the new build and expansion work we regularly complete the industrial tenant or owner fit-ups (TI’s), space demising, and back to back build renovations.  Example work includes:

  • Laboratories

  • Clean Rooms

  • Production Spaces

  • Refrigerated spaces and Freezers

  • Controlled atmosphere areas/rooms

  • Interstitial spaces

  • Employee Welfare Spaces such as washrooms, lunchrooms and change rooms

  • Lube and Servicing bays

  • Shipping and receiving areas

  • Fire Protection systems

  • Mechanical and Electrical Systems upgrades

  • Warehousing and racking

  • Office Spaces, demonstration areas and show rooms
