The Saddle Hills County Complex consisted of a brand new 24,000 sq ft Administration Building at the corner of highway 49 and highway 725, approximately 30km west of Spirit River, Alberta. This Administration building is 2 storeys and features a Council Chamber, training rooms, general office space and administration areas. Some of the unique features of the building come from the sustainable design that was implemented. The administration building has holding tanks for grey water which is collected from the roof drains and is filtered and re-used in the building. There are also solar panels located on the south lower roof which are used to pre-heat water feeding the building’s mechanical systems. Fillmore Construction is very proud to have been a part of this successful project
